Meet Dr. Van

Andrea van de Wetering, DVM, FAVD
Andrea van de Wetering, DVM, FAVD is the owner of Advanced Pet Dentistry, LLC and offers advanced dental procedures for pets including maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontal therapy, and orthodontics. “Dr. Van” has had a focus on dentistry for the past 15 years and in 2009 she became credentialed as a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. Dr. Van has been providing advanced dental care and “tooth saving” procedures for pets on a referral basis in Oregon since 2008.

Here at Advanced Pet Dentistry, LLC, we are in the business of saving teeth whenever possible. Dr. Van has over 20 years of experience in the area of offering alternatives to extraction.

Overview of services offered:

• Advanced oral surgery including oronasal fistula repair, difficult or complicated extractions and oral tumor removal
• Root canal procedures (endodontic treatments) for broken teeth as an alternative to extraction
• Restorative procedures (crown application) for conditions such as enamel defects or to strengthen and protect teeth that have received root canal therapy
• Periodontal therapy to save the large structurally important teeth with the use of bone grafting and other materials to help regenerate tissue structures around the teeth
